Areas Covered:

Centred on Thurso, but may also mention Edinburgh and Machrihanish in the recommendation area.

Overhead and getting cleaner for the North Coast as the day goes on, on Saturday. Sunday will see the winds go cross-shore, but the waves will still be overhead. The question is how much impact the winds will have? – but hopefully there will be enough swell to push through the winds. The East Coast looks to getting swell that will wrap down and around into the North Sea in the shoulder high range, winds will be cross-offshore throughout (although overnight the winds will go Southerly and be quite fresh), but by Sunday they will cross-offshore again – swells will remain shoulder high still. The West Coast looks to be biggest on Saturday in the shoulder to head high range, with strong Southerly winds, which will keep the swell out somewhat. By Sunday there will still be shoulder high swell, but with more onshore-ish winds now. So it’s looking like a North and possibly an East Coast weekend. Stay tuned for further updates, as may well change as the week goes on…………
