Areas Covered:

Centred on Thurso, but may also mention Edinburgh and Machrihanish in the recommendation area.

Overhead with strong cross-shore / cross-onshore sized on the North Coast, so you’ll need to find a bit of shelter / make the use of high tide at beach breaks in order to get something rideable. Sunday will see the swell still overhead, the winds may be a tad lighter (but still with fresh to moderate cross-shore winds), so again shelter is the key. The East Coast will be small throughout, due to the strong offshore / cross-offshore winds throughout, which will keep the swell from getting-in and thus the swell will remain in the 1-2ft range at best throughout. The West Coast looks like it may be biggest on Saturday as the strong cross-onshore winds blow 3-5ft worth of swell in, Sunday may be a bit smaller as the winds weaken a bit. But stay tuned for further updates, as things may change as the week goes on…………

Swell: 4-6ft plus Wind: WNW force 5-7
